Only half a block from the town train station which offers scenic rides in between the mountains. The home has a direct view of the surrounding mountains and the Lehigh river and is located across the entrance of the switchback Trail. It has plenty of parking space and direct access to this beautiful trail leading to the Mauch Chunk Lake Park.

It is a completely renovated 1870 building that is equipped with central heating and cooling, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, furnishings, and deck. It is in the PRIME location near restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and the historic Mauch Chunk Opera House. The property also has two off street parking spots. Jim Thorpe is a spectacular neighborhood full of artists and musicians!

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cozy 2 bedroom cabin that sits a few feet from the creek. The property includes 2 acres of woods on the other side of the creek. Walk across the footbridge and down a short path to a small pond. The cabin was originally a hunting cabin. Over the years it was expanded and converted into a year round residence. The cabin had a 1970’s vibe, so when we renovated it we tried to keep that feel.

The second floor includes a formal sitting room with large windows overlooking the town's main street, one bedroom has a queen sized bed There is a large bathroom with a modern walk in shower. The third floor where you will find two additional bedrooms with full sized beds.

The Old Jail Hideaway (Private Parking)

"The Old Jail Hideaway" is located in the heart of Jim Thorpe 5 houses up from the Old Jail Museum. We have on-site parking in the rear of the house offering 3 parking spots. Walking distance to everything in town. This is an entire house rental. The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, cookware and a COFFEE BAR. We have the Alexa device for streaming music, authentic Victorian furniture and china or just every day plates.
