Enjoy a drink or BBQ on the large deck or unwind with a hot outdoor bath. Just a 5-minute walk from the local supermarket and brew bar.

Allandale Bush Retreat

A nice relaxing bush setting,on a lifestyle block, that also has farm animals.( chickens, ducks & sheep). There is seasonal fruit to pick from our trees, such as apples pears & feijoas. You can have breakfast outdoors with the bellbirds or a barbecue in the evening. We are only an hours walk along a beach track to the local Otorimiro(Governors Bay) hotel , or else it is 5 minutes drive. We are surrounded by beautiful scenery and close to the Port Hill walking tracks and mountain bike trails.

Te Ara Cottage Tranquil Retreat

Beautiful charming cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has gas burners, bbq set outside on the deck and microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster inside. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey

Stay in a 1 bedroom cottage, overlooking the beautiful Cass Bay, 25 mins from Christchurch CBD and 5 minutes from Lyttelton village. The modern cottage has one bedroom, lounge/living area, and private deck. Cooking facilities include a BBQ on the deck, small bench-top oven, and microwave. Lovely quiet area with beautiful views of the hills and a 900m walk from Sandy Bay Beach. 25mins drive from Christchurch Centre. Please note there are no shops in Governors Bay but there is a cafe and a pub.
