Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

I have a few Air bnb apartments in same building. Building it self has been built 1906 its a strong building with 70cm thick brick walls. Hole building is totally re-built by my self. This Air bnb flat is 32m2 with Sauna, its a quiet place towards of lake Saimaa and only 600m from town center of Lappeenranta. We try to show apartment ourselves and give the key when its possible but we can put key also to Mastelock.

During the summer of 2026, the lake water level is exceptionally low, as is the case elsewhere in Eastern Finland. So swimming may be difficult in shallow areas.

Rock House, luonnon keskellä, järvinäkymin, Saimaa

Rockhouse on käsin lähipuista rakennettu. Maja on mukavuuksilla varustettu lämmin maja kalliolla luonnon ja metsän eläinten keskellä. Terassilta on näkymät noin 4 km päähän järvelle auringonlaskun suuntaan. Terassilla erilliset maisemasauna ja lasitettu tunnelmallinen grillikota. Mökki on täydellinen pariskunnalle ja oikein hyvät pienelle perheelle. Iso terassi talon ympäri. Osa terassista lasitettu. Oma kaivovesi on juomakelpoista.

Rauhaa ja rentoutumista Saimaan äärellä

Mökki Kotiranta sijaitsee Saimaan rannalla Taipalsaarella. Mökkiä ympäröi luonto, joten voit rauhassa viettää aikaa avaralla pihalla pelaten pelejä tai tarkkaillen lintuja terassilta. Mökin piha rajoittuu rantaan, jossa on loivasti syvenevä hiekka-/savipohja. Rannassa on myös laituri uimista tai auringon ottoa varten. Käytössäsi on soutuvene, joten voit halutessasi kalastaa. Useat vieraat ovatkin ilahtuneet runsaasta kalansaaliista.
