It's convenient to go out downtown, and it's safe and quiet when you come home. Easy Muni access, free street parking, and laundry in the house.

Given the open concept design - there is not a lot of privacy between bedrooms, just a big bookcase room divider b/w the rooms. There are a few sitting area's outside and a green roof too! Over 100 steps from the road below, this 'treehouse' is perched above it all and horizontally oriented on a steep lot between two creeks. The all glass façade creates dramatic views of the redwoods, Mt. Tam and across downtown Mill Valley to Blithedale Ridge. Anchored to granite the house sits on handmade stone walls from rock harvested on the property during construction in the 1960s. Truly a one of a kind stay.

Located minutes away from Mt. Sutro and Twin Peaks, 1.5 miles from Golden Gate Park, the downstairs unit features it's own entrance through the backyard with a kitchenette & spacious living area. There is plenty of parking on the street. We live in the upstairs level and can answer any questions as needed and are happy to help as much or as little as you'd like. Forest Knolls is a quiet and safe neighborhood that makes you feel like you're in a forest in the middle of an urban city.
