This is a beautiful space with stunning views over the fields towards stroud. It is very simply decorated inside with lovely oak beams and staircase. There is also a wood burning stove for extra warmth in the winter months. From the outside it almost looks like a swiss chalet, and upstairs on the mezzanine floor you will find traditional Japanese Tatami mats and futon beds. There are currently no kitchen facilities apart from a kettle, fridge and microwave.
Set in Laurie Lee's Birth home, formerly known as #2 Glenville Terrace, this studio Flat has been newly and thoroughly refurbished, with a warm and cosy feel to it. Only 5 minutes on foot from the historic town centre of Stroud also known as the "Covent Garden" of Cotswolds. Only 20 minutes on foot to the Slad Valley, a gem of the cotswolds. There are several Pubs within walking distance the nearest only 100 yards down the road. Local amenities are only 200yards away.
“¡Qué pequeño estudio encantador! Tan acogedor y acogedor con pequeños detalles encantadores, fue la base perfecta para nosotros (dos adultos y un bebé). Excelentes servicios y el anfitrión fue incluso lo suficientemente amable como para prestarme un brolly cuando el clima se convirtió en nosotros. Realmente fácil de llegar a la ciudad y ver las vistas de Stroud desde aquí también. Un gran lugar para quedarse!”
Great views, walks and cycle rides in nearby AONB fields & woods, the 'Cotswold Way' long distance path, old Randwick village, Stroud town & the River Severn. This newly-built annex is light, warm, has high ceilings, comfortable bed and a very adequate kitchen for self-catering. Good for singles or couples, we could also accommodate a child or dog.
