Set on the side of the Gunks and surrounded by quiet forest, this warm, cozy home is designed for guests who love nature and simple comfort. Just minutes from Minnewaska and Stony Kill Falls. Enjoy wood-burning stove, a handmade L-couch, premium queen mattresses, a forest-view kitchen stocked with high quality coffee, tea, and essentials. Thoughtful touches include incense, essential oils, Puracy toiletries, and a meaningful library. Two porches facing the woods create a warm, peaceful escape.

Simple, airy, studio cottage next to my house, featuring a woodstove & enormous bathroom with a clawfoot tub. Perfect for writers/solo-travelers seeking solitude & peace and couples wanting quality time together. The cottage is on a scenic country road, walking distance to 3 farms, including 2 great farm-to-table restaurants: Westwind Pizza/Apple Orchard, Arrowood Brewery, & Hollengold Farm. A stone's throw are Stonehill Barn and Inness. 15 min drive to the incomparable Minnewaska State Park.

Take a leisurely walk under the towering trees in the quiet wooded acre surrounding our cozy, alpine-inspired cabin with contemporary bohemian touches. Sleep in upstairs under deep-set skylights, observe wildlife out our large picture windows, or curl up by the fire on the rustic screened porch. Daydream on our hammock or dine alfresco taking advantage of our barbeque. On a clear night, it is easy to stargaze up through the tall trees, perhaps while toasting marshmallows fireside.

Welcome! Just two hours from Manhattan, our home is the perfect Catskills getaway. Tucked into the woods at the base of Minnewaska state park, our home is quiet, clean and full of light. The house is surrounded by green and nature, but close to cute towns for shopping and dining and of course all the area has to offer with hikes and outdoor activities. Or stay in and lounge on the deck, listen to some records, watch a movie, and relax. It's everything you need for a dream vacation.

Blue Haven in the Catskills

We built a studio-house on the foundation of an old summer cottage. We did not expand the footprint, but furnished it with select pieces and appliances and gave it contemporary finishes. We also added a screened porch, open deck and stone patio. The woodland and mountain views are lovely, while the location is convenient to Lake Minnewaska State Park and the Mohonk Preserve. Ulster County levies a 4% tax on overnight stays. Payment is made anytime between confirmation and arrival.

Newly built apartment steps from Mohonk preserve.

Nestled amongst the trees below Bonticou Crag this is a great base camp for climbing, hiking and biking. Five minutes from New Paltz; I do recommend having a car to access the area. Shared yard and fire pit right outside. My family and I live in the main part of the house. The outside area and house are still under construction, I’m working on it but its not put together yet. The apartment and inside area are clean and newly built with their own mini split and air circulation.

Shawangunk House

The house was built in 2018. It is very modern and open. It is located 8 minutes from Minnewaska State Park, 10 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, and 30 minutes from the Catskills. There is a Smart TV. There is also a record player with a large record selection. There is strong WIFI and great cell phone coverage from all carriers. We have an EV level 2 charger. There is an additional charge to use the charger. Please contact us if you want to add charging to your stay.

Hidden cabin on 2 wooded acres

Retreat to a beautiful cabin and get lost on two wooded acres. Reconnect with nature in your own way - hike around nearby Lake Minnewaska, or another of the dozens of incredible trails in the area. Explore infinity under a blanket of stars and share stories gathered around the firepit. When you’re called inside, grab a book and settle in by the fireplace. Then cook a meal in our well-equipped kitchen or on the grill, and enjoy it on the patio overlooking the property.

Woodland Neighborhood Retreat

Relax in a cozy studio in the peaceful woods. Tasteful high-quality touches will have you feeling comfortable right away! This is an ideal space for up to 2 adults and up to 2 children. We live upstairs & offer self-check-in. A rare find in the Hudson Valley, our neighborhood is mostly flat, with walkable, quiet roads, and excellent bird-watching. It's an easy bike ride to connect to the vast state-wide rail trail system & all that the Mohonk Preserve has to offer.

Built in 1900, the home was recently gut renovated and features two spacious bedrooms, full bathroom, open plan dining room and living space, a three-season sun room, back deck, and a modern and well appointed kitchen. Located just minutes from Minnewaska State Park and all the beauty and fun the Shawangunks have to offer!
