'The Byre' a 1 Bedroom Cottage in the Countryside

The Byre at Butterywells Farm is a converted byre located next to our farmhouse, which dates back over two hundred years. The Byre is a fully equipped self catering holiday cottage with many original features. The Byre is wheelchair accessible with its own parking area. Set in 2 acres of mature gardens containing walks, secluded seating areas and a small lochan. Experience country living whilst only being a 15 min drive from the centre of Aberdeen. Not just dogs are welcome but horses too.

Thistle Dhu Cottage is a self-contained steading/barn annex, decorated in a "rural chic with retro twist" style, located in peaceful countryside. Enclosed garden & private meadow. Great base for exploring Cairngorms, Grampians, east coast beaches & harbours, golf courses, scenic & wildlife photography, astronomy, walking, cycling, or relaxing in your own space. Open-plan Living Room/Dinette/Kitchenette, ONE Bedroom, Shower/Toilet. Pets very welcome. Sorry but not suitable for young children.

The Castle Byre

The 'Byre' is a luxury self catering cottage within a former barn at historic Parkhead Farm. It sits just 200m from the ruins of Auchindoun Castle and has unsurpassed views to the castle on the hill. Being of contemporary open plan design, it retains the traditional look of the original barn interior with large exposed roof trusses and natural stonework. Underfloor heating provides discrete background warmth and there is a modern wood burning stove to give an enhanced level of cosiness.

The Burghers Kirk @ 136, St Andrews

The Burghers Kirk is a quaint 1 bedroom cottage full of character and quirky features with a secluded courtyard garden and is situated in the heart of St Andrews, close to the West Port and the medieval core of the town. Recently refurbished to a contemporary and high standard the cottage is suitable for 2 adults. Originally built in 1749 and used by the Burgher Kirk congregation, it was gifted to the St Andrews Preservation Trust in 1954 and reconstructed into a charming cottage.

Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. We hope you enjoy your stay.

The incredible Dunnottar castle is all of 5 minutes away, with the city of Aberdeen 25 minutes and the city of Dundee 45 minutes.

A rare opportunity to experience life in a 200 year old fishing village. Footdee (locally called “Fittie”) is a conservation area, steeped in history. Our quaint cottage is located within the grassed Fittie Squares and is packed with character. Fittie was recently showcased on the BBC2 series “The Secret History of our Streets”.

West Gallaton Farmhouse

Our beautiful farmhouse is around 300 years old. We renovated and upgraded it to make it a welcoming, cosy home-from-home for our guests. It has stunning views over open rural landscape all the way to the sea. It comfortably sleeps up to 5 adults in three bedrooms. It is a short 5-minute drive to Stonehaven.

The Cottar House is perfectly situated in rural Aberdeenshire where it's close to the lovely seaside resort of Stonehaven. We are on the doorstep of Royal Deeside and only a 15 minute drive to Aberdeen, the beautiful Granite City. We have our full STL licence.
