It is situated on a small farm with cattle and sheep. Guests enjoy sightings of kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, kookaburras & native birds. Local activities include trout fishing, hiking, kayaking, mushrooming, truffle hunts, Waldara weddings, sightseeing in the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Walls and Mayfield Garden. The Bach Farm stay is a cosy cottage in the beautiful cool climate wine region of Wallaroo. 25 minutes from Canberra CBD. The Bach has 2 bedrooms,lounge and galley kitchen with full size fridge.There is a balcony to sit out and enjoy the view or play a game of tennis with spectacular views. The Bach has 3 pet sheep an alpaca named Brian and an abundance of Australian exotic birds. The Bach sits close to the main home but far away enough for total privacy.kangaroos are around most days.
