1 bedroom self contained bungalow. The property is attached to our home but is independent and accessed only by the guests. No facilities are shared. The living room has a wood burning stove, a full HD projector and retro arcade console. Outside decking is private to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. Kitchen comes fully equipped with a 5 hob electric cooker, oven, fridge freezer as well as a microwave. Skirinish Farm cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard. Great for a romantic getaway, the cottage is at the end of a private road, situated close to the sea on a private peninsula. Relax in the cottage or use it as a base to explore the many attractions on Skye. Close to the main village of Portree and the harbour at Uig with access to the Outer Hebrides the cottage is perfectly situated. The cottage has good WIFI, perfect for WFH. The studio is detached but in the same grounds as our house. It has its own private entrance and parking. You enter via the fully fitted and equipped kitchen: dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, induction hob, electric fan oven, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. From the kitchen you then enter the open-plan lounge/bedroom where there is a king sized bed with feather and down duvet and pillows and white bed linen and towels.

Spacious cabin beside the sea

Situated in the township of Braes, only a 15 minute drive from Portree, our cabin 'moonen' overlooks the Sound of Raasay. It sits on the sea side of an old church building, near the shoreline. It is peaceful here and a haven for wildlife. You can sometimes see whales and dolphins from your window and seals and otters on the nearby shore. Roe deer, sea eagles and buzzards are a common sight too. Enjoy beautiful views over to the Island of Raasay from both the bedroom and living area.

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Small but well formed- the pod is 3 meters x 4.8 meters. Beautiful setting by the sea. 10 minute drive from Portree. Close to local bus route. Plenty of local wildlife to sit and observe. Within walking distance of local hotel, for evening meals or drinks at the bar. Outside area with seating provided to enjoy. We now have WiFi available to guests.
