Cozy and comfortable former farm house located between the neighbouring towns of Vík and Kirkjubæjarklaustur on the south coast. Only 45 km from Vík and 30 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The house is in a quiet area of the main road with beautiful scenery all around. The house is perfect for families and friends travelling together. It is a perfect base-camp while exploring the south coast of Iceland with all its amazing waterfalls and visiting the magnificent Glacier Lagoon Jökulsárlón.

Our property is centrally located to explore the natural wonders of the south. About 50 km east of Vik and 30 km west of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. 7.5 km from ring road no 1 by road 208. Most nature attractions in central south Iceland are within 95 minute's drive from us. Please note; that due to a problem with our address in the Airbnb system, the location of our cabin G-24 is not correct on the Airbnb map. Our place is accessible by any car in normal summer conditions. Free car charging.

It is located on a large land where guests are free to roam around and explore.

Brand new whole year, 30 m2, cottage in Álftaver, very warm and cozy. One bedroom with two 80cm. beds. In the main room is a pull out sofa bed 140 cm., TV 40", small kitchen with all basic utensils that you need to cook, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and a kettle. Kitchen table and chairs. Bathroom with a shower. Porch with table and chairs. Free wifi. Great house for 4 guests, also we provide a baby crib for no extra charge. Great view.

Our new cottages are located within 3 kilometers from Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon and 7 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur The cottages were build in 2018 and are designed to be minimalistic, cozy and to enjoy the amazing nature that Iceland has to offer. If you are lucky you might even see the Nothern Lights in the sky on a cold winter night.

Snæbýli Cottage 2

Cottage that is located in peaceful and quiet area between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountain road (F210). It is 45m2 in size and is divided into two bedrooms, bathroom and then an open space where you have a fully equipped kitchen and living room with big windows and breathtaking view

Small Cozy Cabin just 5km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur town. Nearly in the middle between Vik (Reynisfjara) and Jokulsarlon (Glacier lagoon) The cabin is in a unique landscape called Pseudo Craters. "Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
