Private patio with table and chairs for an al fresco breakfast or dinner and sole use of a small summerhouse with views of the Axe Valley.

We will provide tea and coffee amenities, breakfast items and fresh linen. The property is set in the sought after village of Kimington in East Devon on the border of Dorset. The village itself has two pubs, a garage and Miller's Farm Shop. It also backs onto Shute woods with numerous walking trails.

Musbury is found in East Devon and a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The barn is located at the foot of Musbury Castle and on the East Devon Way. The barn is a 16th Century former dairy, 3 miles from Seaton and Axminister 7 miles from Lyme Regis. The barn has 2 bedrooms one shower room and a lounge/kitchen. Big comfy sofas and 1/3 acre of garden shared with the owner and his cocker spaniel Bailey. Additional single chair bed available for additional guest

It is detached and so private, with two gardens and a meadow, a stream runs through the gardens. It is delightful to spend time at the Old Forge. There is an area to barbecue or have a fire outside. For bookings during summer holidays there is a 'one week' minimum stay.
