The Guest House

WE DO NOT HAVE CABLE TV. UP A FLIGHT of STAIRS is a spacious apartment next to The Historic Masonic Theatre in the center of town. The building is built above Smith Creek and the comforting sound will lull you to sleep. The mattresses are comfy pillow tops and we have plenty of seating. You will be within walking distance of many restaurants and stores. Unfortunately this listing is not handicapped accessible due to the stairs and if you have any allergies be aware we allow guests to have dogs.

Outdoor activities are available throughout the area: ample hiking trails, kayaking excursions, fishing, Lake Moomaw, the infamous natural, warm spring waters bubbling from the earth, etc.!

Near the historic town of Clifton Forge, you will find the peaceful escape you have been searching for. The area is ideal for hiking, biking, kayaking, tubing and fishing. Our home has recently been completely remodeled and furnished to accommodate 8 people, with four bedrooms and two baths.

Go for a walk or bike ride on the 28 plus acres or pretty rural lanes. 2.5 miles away is Lake Robertson for activities . Sit on the porch too! On a snowy night, enjoy the wd-burning fireplace . Features: hot tub, outdoor dining area, small kitchenette amenities, and smart-tv w/firestick (must use your hotspot to stream). 10 min to BR Parkway, Peaks of Otter, and Claytor Nature Center. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. (Look for Wind Tides Farm sign). ***If booking in winter months, keep in mind the wind tends to be heavy, depending on weather.***

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Farm's Edge Cabin at Apple Horse Farm

This cozy, secluded cabin sits on the edge of a 1000-acre farm overlooking rolling hay fields. This is the perfect spot for solo travelers, families, or couples to relax, recharge, and enjoy the outdoors. Find yourself drinking coffee, finishing up work, or deep in a good book in the sunroom. Then fill your day with outdoor activities throughout the Allegheny Highlands. At night, grill out and enjoy dinner around the table. Then light a bonfire and stargaze before ending the night.

Cowpasture River front cottage on a 350 acre farm.

Charming 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house sleeps four looking over the Cowpasture River on a 350 acre working farm. Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.

Rendezvous at Rhonda's View!! Enjoy your morning coffee and evening beverage while sitting on the deck or screened-in porch overlooking the Cowpasture River. It is truly a special place of serenity. Geese, heron, and an occasional eagle fly along the river valley. The Cowpasture is one of America's most pristine rivers. **Please make sure to read "Other Details to Note" for notes and rules regarding the water filtration system and no smoking policy.

Come visit this beautiful cabin nestled in the heart of Craig County VA. This spacious cabin sits on 7 acres of land that back-ups to National Forest. A great space to come relax, slow down and enjoy some beautiful mountain views. This cabin is conveniently located about 10 minutes from the town of New Castle, and about 30 minutes from the VA Triple Crown hiking loop. Public access to Craig's creek about 5 minutes from this location.
