Welcome to Bench 170. You will enjoy the very private entire upper floor and use of the yard as guest space. This house is a West Coast Modern built in 2012. A delight for architect enthusiasts and art lovers alike as it was a venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for several years. This cozy home gives you the best of both worlds, surrounded by mature forest with an ocean view. Take in the view from the private patio off the master bedroom or the patio, off the living room. Watch the birds from the patios by day. On a clear night, you'll experience a quiet star filled sky and perhaps spot a bat or two. Away from traffic noise, this is a quiet getaway. My place is pet friendly, limited to one pet.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
