Your stay is directly next to a winery and right across 414 is one of the best breweries in the Finger Lakes, walk to either with care! Enjoy a camp fire out back of this cute little home. It is only about 5 minutes from Hector National Forest, 15 minutes to Watkins Glen Gorge, as well as 15 minutes to Taughannock Falls which all have a lot of great hiking trails for our fellow out door enthusiasts.

Waneta Lakeside Cottage

Right on the water with lots of space and fresh air this new and charming cottage is situated in the heart of the Finger Lakes on the east side of Waneta Lake. Ideal for 1 to 2 couples, a girls weekend getaway or families up to 4. There are 2 bedrooms, an open fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area and bathroom with walk-in shower. Dine and relax on the over-sized covered deck overlooking the lake. A stairway from the deck provides access to a private beach with 4 kayaks.

You'll be located on the lake, just off of Rt 414, in a prime stretch of wineries, breweries, dining, hiking, local markets and live music. The property features 133’ of usable frontage (no stairs!) & boat dock which is just steps off the grand porch complete with a gazebo, outdoor kitchen & fire pit.

Open the sliding doors and walk right out onto the dock! Start a fire in the firepit, tie-up your boat (rentals available 4mi. south), or snuggle up and watch a movie during the cozy nights. Our 1320sqft family lake retreat is a 35-step-walk from the private parking area (4+ vehicles) to front door.
