We are 5 minutes from Saranac Lake, 10 Minutes from Lake Placid, and 25 minutes from Whiteface. Located on a peninsula of Oseetah Lake, we have waterfront access perfect for ice skating, snowshoeing and XC skiing in the winter right from our doorstep. The lake offers sweeping views of Ampersand and the surrounding mountains.

This quirky, little space will add a splash of of color and charm to your stay in beautiful Lake Placid. It has a bit of a retro feel and features a king bed, full size fridge, dishwasher, and an outdoor, rooftop patio/deck with a grill and seating. It is within walking distance of several wonderful restaurants and about a half mile walk to the heart of Mainstreet, Lake Placid and Mirror Lake.

The Village Hideaway II (former name Village Nook) is a comfortable ground level, garden apartment, with a private entrance. It's perfect for one or two people on an Adirondack get-away or business trip. Take a seven minute stroll down Broadway or on the Adirondack Rail Trail behind our house to enjoy the village of Saranac Lake for dining, shopping, galleries, and events.
