The guest home listed here is over a quarter mile away from their personal residence. Yosemite NP is about an hour away, via 2 entrances, with year-round activities for all activity levels. Many of our guests tell us they wished they’d had more time to just unplug, right here on the property.

The Hideaway

The Hideaway is an enchanting one room casita situated on the outer crest of the property, The Confluence. Wake up to the sunrise with a lush *View* of the natural countryside from your private deck. The Hideaway is accessed by a foot path (200ft) from the Main House. The Private Bathroom is off of the Main House (200ft from room). From the parking area to the room, it is roughly 400ft. There is no kitchen or cooking appliances other than a hot water kettle and a mini-frig.

Guest, Thor Arnold 2024 Yosemite Shuteye is as it sounds; a most private out-of-the-way delight of two parts - the yurt connected by cedar decking to a hand-hewn cookhouse with an airy 3/4-bath and a fully stocked kitchen. A seasonal fire pit is a favorite place to star gaze and eat smores to your hearts content. Quiet and very comfortable. The space is yours and yours alone. Very private and not shared!
