The Pod is a completely independent first floor apartment accessed via its own courtyard entrance the ground level. Not suitable for disabled access. We respect your privacy. We will greet you on arrival but will leave you to enjoy your stay. We run the Architectural and Interior Design showroom on the ground floor. Hop on a bus to Fen Drayton’s famous nature reserve and visit the myriad of historic and picturesque villages in the the area. St Ives sits on the river Ouse with a pretty quayside and excellent independent shops, cafes, and restaurants. There is a carpark directly opposite the pod. We are a 2 minute walk to the river and shops of St.Ives. It is just a ten minute walk to St Ives’s famous ‘Guided Busway’, where regular buses will whizz you into Central Cambridge in less than 40 minutes

This centrally-located property only a 10 minute walk into the historic market town of Saffron Walden which boasts a collection of antique shops, tea rooms, independent shops and restaurants. Saffron Walden Museum and the Castle Keep ruins are worth a visit as is Bridge End Gardens. Audley End House and Gardens make a perfect day out whilst also hosting picnic concerts. The nearest train station is Audley end (5 min drive). Taking you straight into the beautiful city of Cambridge or London.

It is ideally located for visits to Cambridge, Addenbrooke's, Newmarket etc. Please note we are not within walking distance of Cambridge but it is easily accessible by car, taxi, Uber or bike!

We are on the B1039 midway between Royston and Saffron Walden, ideal for Stansted Airport and the Cambridge/Liverpool Street and Cambridge/Kings Cross train lines with Royston and Audley End Stations both being just 5 miles away. Cambridge 'Park & Ride' is a 20 minute drive.

Blue Dog Quarters is a bright and stylish first floor apartment with a sunny decked terrace. It is located above SmallTown coffee shop and bakery on the High Street in the centre of Clare, Suffolk's smallest town. Clare's pubs, cafés, excellent independent shops and country park complete with castle ruins are all within easy walking distance and the town makes an excellent base for exploring further afield in this pretty corner of Suffolk.
