This is one of my fave spots - it's a restaurant/bar built inside an old house. Great happy hour specials. Go upstairs & eat in the bar for the best ambiance, or in warm weather eat outside on the patio.

If you're an art lover, don't miss the CLE Museum of Art. It's a spectacular building funded by old Cleveland money (note: Rockefellers, Carnegies) with an outstanding collection (Monet, Renoir, Picasso, etc.)...and it's FREE to the public! Clevelanders are proud of this museum, and for good reason - it holds its own vs. European museums. There is usually an additional special exhibit running (for an extra fee), but the main collection is free & it will take you hours to look at everything. Also, check out the delicious on-site restaurant/bar, and lunch spot, right off the atrium.
