If the Southern Cross isn't NZ's best pub then I need to get out more! This hotel is a multi facility operation that purrs like clock work from the restaurant, indoor bars, garden bar, cafe, live music space, DJ and chill areas. Great for kids too, with face painting etc.

Olive is one of NZ's best restaurants, and their garden area is wonderful. The food wins awards, and the ambience is stunning. Great laid back live jazz and blues on Friday nights.
