This is one of my favorite places to sit outside and have brunch while enjoying the view of the water and the local traffic. The inside of the restaurant is lovely too. I also enjoy it for late night fancy cocktails! Try the quiche and the french toast with a steaming cup of Kahwa coffee (locally brewed). Also--there is a french bakery that is divine! The service can be a little slow, but it's great food in a wonderful atmosphere.

This place specializes in crepes. Divine, delicious sweet or savory, they are all great. It is also a great place to go in the evening for a nice cup of coffee. Located just off Beach Dr, it can be surprisingly quiet in the evenings.

If you want to go a little further, this is something very different and special. Thai-Tex/Mex fusion might sound crazy, but your tastebuds might fall in love! It's quirky decor and unique menu are something really different. The owners are the chefs and they mean business with the spices! They have been on the Food Network more than once! It's quirky decor and unique menu are something really different. The owners are the chefs and they mean business with the spices! They have been on the Food Network more than once! The service can be a little slow, but it's another place I think is worth checking out.
Tiny guilt free cupcakes... do I need to say more? Well... they also have great coffee and alcohol on tap! The decor is beautiful and the staff are as sweet as the cupcakes!

If you want to go somewhere fancy with a spectacular view, this is the spot! It is pricey, but the food is very good and the view is wonderful. It can get very busy on the weekends, so if you aren't into the nightlife, you may want to check it out during the day--the view is still amazing!

This is technically a museum of Dali's artwork- which is a stunning collection! But more than a museum, the building itself is worth the trip--the glasswork that overlooks the water and spiral staircase are recognized as one of the top sights in the USA. The grounds surrounding the gallery have a maze and lots of other interesting and fun things to explore. I love to go and get a tour with the Docents, they always teach me something new. They also frequently host additional art shows with other art collections often related to Dali. The gift shop has a little something for everyone, even the hardest people on your gift-list.

I love glasswork and Chihuly is one of the best! This is a lovely little collection and if you go, take the time to cross the street and watch a glass blowing demonstration with our local artisans at the Morean Art Center.

Publix is about the only chain store you will find in our neighborhood. If you need groceries, this is your best bet! The have a parking garage above the shop because the parking downtown can be a little difficult.
