Very high quality Portuguese seafood restaurant run by amazing Japanese chef.
This bbq chicken (yakitori) place is our family favorite place for chicken! Good Japanese sake (ask for anything from Niigata). It is a short taxi and even walkable if you're adventurous. It's very close by train too (Shindaita station on the Inokashira line out of Shibuya is the closest). Try everything, but especially the Yaki-onigiri (soy sauce flavor). The "sasami" or chicken finger series is an "only in Japan" experience as they serve the center pink (Not done that way in my hometown but WOW it is good).

They used to have videos in the back room showing Japanese villagers in Okinawa jumping off cliffs to commit suicide because the American army was about to invade. Deep stuff.
