The only beach on the island. It´s not big but very nice when the weather is sunny and warm.

A good start for a walk around the Island. When u pass the highwaybridge you can see the Cityhall and Old Town. Please notice that dogs are allowed to walk withouth leash in the park under highway. Never any problems but good to know.
Half way around the Island (at the trambridge) u have to go up the stairs and continue 100 m on the street Before u can take the stairs down to water again.
At the small beacharea its suitable to take the street back to center of the Island if you want a shorter walk. Otherwise continue mnear the water and the last part will be in the streets (but with a nice view)

At the Touristseason you can take the old steamboats to the Royal castle where the Royal family lives. (Drottningsholm). (in 2016 operator was Stromma.se) Please notice that you have to put up the sign so the boast can see that you want them to make a stop.
