Lake Street is a very short walk from Blue Lagoon. Great short cut to the beach. This is a great spot to launch the kayaks and head down the creek fishing. On low tide we catch live bait for fishing. The children enjoy watching the solider crabs running across the sand and back in their holes. Lots of people walk their dogs as well.

Goolawah National Park

Take the prominent right turn on to Point Plummer Road Crescent Head. You will find the entrance to Goolawah National park about 1klm drive along Point Plomer Road. There are lots of things for you to see and do in the National Park. Summer - Bring your beach things, chairs, towels, swimmers, boards, beach rug and shade. Goolawah Beach is a great place for swimming, surfing and snorkeling. Please remember it is not a patrolled Beach. Autumn - We love heading down to Goolawah Beach in Autumn feeling the sand between our toes on a beach walk breathing in the salty sea air. The water temperature can be in the 20 degrees sometimes, so swimming at the beach is still on the cards. Winter - A must to do is whale watching. Climb up the headland to spot whales as they migrate North for the winter months. A walk on the beach is also nice most days seeing the bird life. Spring - A must see in Spring is all the bird life and the heathlands bursting with wildflowers. You will love the colours of the banksias and bottle brush.
