Brewery has been there awhile but now there's a permanent food truck (a converted Silverstream doing a small TexMex menu) on site with a cool seated area that opens onto the street - Friday night and weekends only. Gets great reviews but haven't eaten there yet so please let us know if you do!

Local grocery shop - good deli, not the cheapest but it's a nice 750 metre walk (go along the bike track East for 400m then turn south and you'll find it)

One of the few owner operated pubs around untouched by gentrification! There's a pool table in the back and jukebox that does a nice line in hairspray rock anthems...Rock out! A retro gem.
