Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar
The historic town of Mostar, spanning a deep valley of the Neretva River, developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town and during the Austro-Hungarian period in the 19th and 20th centuries. Mostar has long been known for its old Turkish houses and Old Bridge, Stari Most, after which it is named. In the 1990s conflict, however, most of the historic town and the Old Bridge, designed by the renowned architect Sinan, was destroyed. The Old Bridge was recently rebuilt and many of the edifices in the Old Town have been restored or rebuilt with the contribution of an international scientific committee established by UNESCO. The Old Bridge area, with its pre-Ottoman, eastern Ottoman, Mediterranean and western European architectural features, is an outstanding example of a multicultural urban settlement. The reconstructed Old Bridge and Old City of Mostar is a symbol of reconciliation, international co-operation and of the coexistence of diverse cultural, ethnic and religious communities.

A popular spot for the locals and tourists to swim (water is around 15deg) with the water falls flowing in the background. Very sheltered and some cafes/eats nearby so a great place to spend a few hours relaxing or having some lunch.

The place is from the Ottoman reign era, it has a souvenir shop, café, and place for prayer for Muslims. The house is situated in Blagaj, a small city very close to Mostar (and well signposted). It's beautiful from the outside and inside. It's situated next to a river and built in a rock. This exhibition is a rare glimpse into the unfortunate reality that the people of this region faced. This collection shows the strength and perseverance of the people. It allows us outsiders to understand (at least a little bit) what we suffered through and why there seems to be such an air of peace, tolerance and compassion towards all today.

If you're trying to really enjoy the view over the Neretva river, than this is the right place for you. When compared to the Old Bridge in the Old Town it's not that crowded, so you may take pictures and enjoy Mostar from this bridge without any problems.
