You may even spot spinner dolphins and turtles! During the Winter months, the waves get monstrous. And only viewing may be allowed.

Makapu'u Light House trail is a beautiful beginner hike with massive ocean views of Oahu's southeastern coastline. On a clear day, the outer islands Moloka'i and Lana'i may be viewed from the trail. In the Winter Season, Humpback whales are famous to be seen from here.
