This place has really good food but my favorite thing is to eat a cheesecake or cake, everything is yummy. They have many teas and make a crazy mint and ginger lemonade.

La Suiza is the place to go for a quick sweet bite. This was the first bakery in town and is still a very famous one among locals. Try the oven made empanadas, the delicious eclairs and selva negra cakes

Parks & Nature
The Valley of Catarpe is one of the greenest areas near San Pedro de Atacama. You'll find the San Pedro river carrying the water that is used for agriculture and many hiking trails, some like the main road and the "Devil's throat" you can also do the by bike. If you enjoy archaeology and history ask around and maybe you'll find some petroglyphs

This lagoon is so salty that anybody can easily float even if you don't know how to swim you can very much enjoy it. It's 20 kms away, it can be reached by bike and is better to go in the morning or you can take a guided tour

Cejar Lagoon is our version of the beach in the middle of the desert, it's an amazing place to go and have refreshing bath. This lagoon is so salty that anybody can easily float even if you don't know how to swim you can very much enjoy it. It's 20 kms away, it can be reached by bike and is better to go in the morning or you can take a guided tour

Lola is pretty much the only place to have fun at night. At night there's always karaoke which is great to do with friends, you should get a pizza and try a rica rica pisco sour.
