This place is always packed, because it is incredibly charming. They offer a full coffee bar to go with their baked goods, which include a stunning selection of pies. I recommend the Earl Grey. The macaroons are also amazing.

This liquor store's giant clown sign is hard to miss. It has served as a shooting location for lots of TV, film, and commercials, so if you'd like to absorb some Hollywood energy, buy yourself a beer or bottle of wine here.

Getting Around
This is the local Metro stop, a very short walk from the apartment. I HIGHLY recommend using Metro to get around Hollywood and downtown, instead of facing traffic and parking. It doesn't run all night, so watch the ending times.
I use the Transit app to plan my public transport schedule and routes. I recommend placing your phone on Power Save Mode while using it, and carrying a backup power pack should your juice run dry before you can make it home at night.
