Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi (= on the Two Gulfs) is a charming village that owes its name to its privileged hilltop location, between the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. The view of the “Two Gulfs” can be observed from the viewpoint of the Monastery situated on the hill called “Il Deserto”, a short walk from the center of the village. It is a tourist destination since the Nineteenth Century, thanks in part to its scenic location, but also for its well-known mild climate and healthy air. Walking options are legion. Trails lead off in all directions and it won’t take long before you hit a coast. The food is equally legendary, even by Italian standards, with some wonderful agriturismi (farm stays) and the peerless Don Alfonso 1890, surely one of the best restaurants in Italy.

A great place to enjoy the local folklore. Funny and lovely atmosphere, beautiful outside area and good prices. The Bar Orlando was founded in Sant’Agata, Italy in 1907 by a man named Cilento Orlando. His son, in 1945, adopted a cat and named him Jolly. “Alfredo took the management of the bar. He was a war veteran and an animal lover. Alfredo decided to organize a show with his prodigious cat, called Jolly. This show gave a turn to the bar, in fact, myriads of local and foreign pepole, came to see the Smoking cat. Now the bar is still managed by the same family with Alfredo’s son Orlando.”

The Crapolla Cove is Crapolla Cove is one of the most suggestive inlets on the coast of Massa Lubrense: in addition to being of great naturalistic interest, it retains visible traces of a past rich in history. A charming and fascinating place: nature, sea, and rich history. You can reach it on foot from the village of Torca: from piazza San Tommaso Apostolo take Via Nula and then Via Casalvecchio, where the trail to the fjord begins. Following the route of an ancient mule track, the first part of the trail runs among the green of the Mediterranean maquis and then along the brook Iarito up to the natural lookout “La Guardia”. Here a stone bench invites you to stop and admire the wonderful view: in front, the three Li Galli islets, the islands Isca and Vetara; to the left, the Amalfi Coast and, when the air is clear, the whole Gulf of Salerno; to the right, the unmistakable silhouette of Punta Penna.

One of the most important archaeological sites of the Sorrento peninsula, rich in history, nature and legend. A scenic road framed by huge cliffs and the remains of an ancient Roman villa, leads to a wonderful natural arch over the sea. The villa known by the name "Villa Pollio Felice" dates back to the first century. BC and is divided into two parts: the villa, surrounded by fields and maritime domus. Both connected by tunnels and stairs. The cliff, for its peculiarities, is one of the stages most visited by swimmers, especially during the high season. The site is reached by bus from Sorrento Circumvesuviana Station and by car leaving from Sorrento. Continue in the direction of Sorrento along Via Capo, up to the Capo di Sorrento.

Very laid back relaxed place with beaches jetty and great restaurants ( especially La Tavernetta ), away from the main touristy spot. It’s also a working marina with small fishing boats unloading their catch which is sold to both locals and restaurants. You will need to get the local A line bus to Capo, keep walking in the same direction when you get off and turn right at old white hotel Liana, follow the lane down and after about 1K Puolo will come into view.
