Great place to have an hour or two outside. You can choose to walk around the ancient hill fortifications, for free, and enjoy the views over the city and the nearby air field. Part way around the walk are the remains of the original Salisbury cathedral.
For a small cost you can enter the old castle ruins and enjoy this history steeped monument at its best.
