Nice atmosphere, good food. The hotel has a restaurant serving nice brasserie-style food and then a further restaurant at the rear of the hotel ,The Stable, serving pizza and cider - great for relaxed eating with the kids/big groups. Seating is on bench tables. Upstairs in the hotel there's the Venner bar where Lloyd the barman will serve you a lovely cosmopolitan.

My favourite place to by clothes. Owner Vicki has great style and I always want something when I go in! Lots of Scandinavian brands, Custom Made and Marlene Birger etc, along with names like French Connection and Great Plains. Lovely jewellery and nick nacks too. Love.
