However, there is a great selection of meat cuts fairly priced. Friendly helpful staff. The Uruguayan picanha is excellent, as well as their linguisas (sausages). Pao de Queijo, cochinhas..... all very good.

"Bifana" very tasty and large portion. Bacalhau a Brás, Pastel de Nata with a Cafe Delta espresso. All are tasty and well priced. Probably one of the best cafes of this style in south London. Great crowd too.

Authentic South Indian restaurant, reasonable prices and good service. Excellent veggie dishes and a good selection of fish curries. Okra, potato and tamarind curry is excellent.

This is a nice little pub serving a selection of local craft ales & spirits, friendly people, a real hidden gem. You can come here and sit by the river and enjoy the extraordinary setting of the Merton Abbey Mills with London's only working water wheel. Fantastic in the summer or those mild winter evenings especially when the live music events are on at the weekends.

Eclectic market with lots of food & drink shops, ideal for bar & food hopping. So many treasures, places to eat and drink. Mostly funky hipster cool places. There is a heating system so it is a lot more comfortable than outdoor markets. Decent vibe, not madly expensive but not cheap either. It's really good to be in London without all the commercialism. Well worth a visit, the nights are really good as well.
