Elgin St. diner is an Ottawa famous 24-hour diner that offers amazing all day breakfast, lunch and dinner. Classic Canadian diner food, this spot has earned it's famous status as it's been serving Ottawa for over 22 years! Additionally, Maclean’s magazine included the Elgin Street Diner in a recent editorial about food that defines Canada :D

Barrymore's is one of the oldest venues in Ottawa, a three storey music hall converted to a night club this is one of my favourite places to party! They host amazing shows (EDM, electronic, club style) with famous artists as well as local artists, offer themed nights like 1990s throwback and attract some of the best crowds of young party-going students. Conveniently located a 10 min walk from home and right next to Babylon night club and Cue and Cushion billiards hall you definitely won't regret checking out this spot!

A tour of Canada's parliament is a must for international visitors! Behind parliament hill you'll find a stunning view of the lake and the Ontario/Quebec border. Every Wednesday at 12 noon Parliament hill hosts FREE outdoor yoga classes and every night, starting July 9-Sept 10 the "Northern Lights" lazer and light show is projected on to the parliament buildings telling the story of Canada's history.

Called "The House of Paint," this art and culture festival celebrates Ottawa's grassroots hip hop community with a BBQ, vendors, DJs, local graffiti artists, break-dance competition, and one of the dopest nightlife events; an outdoor rave underneath the bridge!
