Nara Ramen and Izakaya - Bismarck
309 North 3rd StreetBest ramen in town.
Beautiful restaurant right on the banks of the Missouri River. Choose the scenic route to get there along Burnt Boat Road to make you feel as though you've left the city when you absolutely haven't!
Start with The Devil's Eggs for "Å Beite" and finish it off with "Å Holde" (the Royale With Cheese is my go-to).
Huckleberry House also offers brunch dining and mocktails - perfect for those who are abstinent!

Consejos sobre la ciudad
Qué meter en la valija
Pack for the weather.
Summers are hot and winters are cold so pack accordingly.
Summers frequently find us on (or in) the Missouri trying to stay cool. Be sure to pack your shorts and sunscreen, and stay hydrated.
Winters can be bitterly cold especially with the wind. Layers and a long winter coat (with a hood) are helpful to keep the wind from getting down to your bones.
Cómo moverse
Having your own vehicle is best.
Bismarck does have a bus system but it's not very robust. Lyft and Uber do operate here but also not very robustly after certain hours at night. So having a personal vehicle to get you to and from your destination(s) is key. Traffic isn't an issue here as you can get from one side of the city to the other in under 30 mins.
