A quiet locals beach to visit when Coolum Beach gets too busy. There are toilets and BBQ's here with a kids play area. There are lifeguards during weekends and school holidays. There are no shops close by other than a small cafe "Wagtails" located on David Low Way.

This hidden local's bushland loop is a treat for the kids to explore and your furry friend to have a different adventure to the beach when visiting our property in Coolum.
A short 3 minute drive from our property you can climb Mount Coolum. It is a steep walk with rocky stairs. Kids can conquer the heights with many areas to take a stop if needed. Allow 40 minutes return. Take hats and water, once you are out of the forest, there is not a lot of shade. Best to climb the mountain in the morning, or just before sunset if it is a hot day.

If you want to spot turtles, this is the place to go! Park at Point Arkwright Headlands park and then take the path along the cliffs towards Coolum Beach. There is a beautiful bush track along the headlands and so many beautiful photo spots and turtle spotting opportunities.
