We love Crossroads. The food is great, the coffee and tea are fantastic, and they have a great selection of wine and beer and delicious ice cream. The live music is awesome too! Sit out on the patio on warm evenings and you can still hear the music through the open air cafe.

Great food including brunch on the weekends, there is also a Galley Go To is also attached to the restaurant for meals to go and groceries.

We love Forest Hill Park. Check out the farmer's market every Saturday of the year. 8-12 during the summer, 9-12 during the winter. One of the best farmers markets we have ever been to and that is saying a lot. The park is also just beautiful to walk around with a ton of history. Was an amusement park in the early 1900's, then fell into disrepair and has since been revitalized with trails and a beautiful lake.

Great trails and history. Used to be a civil war POW camp. There are signs around the island telling about the history. Access either via buttermilk trail or the pedestrian footbridge by parking near Tredegar.

Our favorite trail. Named for the streams where milk delivery men would set their milk stores to stay cold. 2.75 miles long from start to finish.
