The Ferry is within walking distance from Waverley Cottage to one of the main ferries that goes to any destination in Sydney (Circular Quay). Opal cards are used whilst travelling on all public transport, the bus is just across the road to go to the city. Once you reach $18.00 dollars, the remainder of the day is free. A few gems discovered by our guests include ... "a butcher for cold cuts and a bakery for morning treats.... simply lovely little shopping district. We've already decided that if we ever make our way back to Sydney, your place would be our 'go to' place for a week or more".
