Último Trolley is one of the most popular entry points for Ocean Park Beach, which stretches along the coastline of Condado. The mid-sized waves make this beach a trilling spot for surfers and amateurs alike. This beach has crystal clear waters and immaculate sand for the whole family to enjoy.

El Yunque is the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System but it is also a sacred place in Puerto Rican culture. Many believe its name comes from the Taíno word Yuke, or "white earth," a reference to the clouds that gather around the forest's mountainous peak; others believe it derives from Yúcahu, the Taíno deity of fertility. Today, this national treasure is an excellent destination if you want to immerse yourself in nature. Here's a look at some of the top things to see and do in El Yunque, from bathing in natural pools beneath waterfalls to taking in the gorgeous scenery from its many hiking trails.

Mar Chiquita is one of the most popular natural pools in the north coast. The half-moon opening is created by two limestone outcroppings that allow the intense turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean to rush in. The place is ideal for swimming and soaking in the sun, but there isn’t much shade, but umbrellas and chair rentals are available. There are some food trucks and stands during the weekends where you can find authentic Puerto Rican fritters and refreshing drinks

Castillo San Felipe del Morro, better known as El Morro. This fortification on the corner of the islet of Old San Juan now greets cruise ships as they leisurely sail in and out of the bay. During most of its nearly 500-year history, it was an important military outpost for Spain and later the United States. When you walk through the narrow entrance and see the flags waving in the Atlantic breeze, it's easy to be transported to another time in history and imagine soldiers in antiquated uniforms marching along the edge of the wall where cannons fit snuggly into the embrasures.

La Placita de Santurce is one of Puerto Rico’s nightlife hotspots, attracting both locals and travelers. The placita was originally set up as a market square for local produce, and if you visit during the day, you’ll find a number of colorful stalls and restaurants. However, when the sun goes down, out come the live music and partygoers. Head to one of the many bars for cocktails, and even join salsa dancing on the streets. When hungry, be sure to try out one of the placita’s delicious empanadillas. Don't miss all the best spots on a bar hopping tour of San Juan
