Waterfalls
Tom’s Creek Falls is the closest waterfall. It’s about a 20 minute drive down steep and scenic highway 226. It’s a fairly short and easy hike suitable for taking kids and they can play at the base of the falls. Crabtree Falls is the next closest. It’s a longer hike and definitely more strenuous, but suitable for a day hike and fine for older kids and fit adults/elders. You might want to take the trekking poles that we provide with you on this hike. Linville Falls is the next closest waterfall and the biggest. You cannot get in the water here at all though.
