Baby Beach is a beautiful beach and protected lagoon just before Paia on the North Shore of Maui. An exposed stretch of reef, connected to a rocky red-dirt point on the west end of the beach creates a calm lagoon protected from the ocean. This lagoon is perfect for young keiki and parents. It is also a great place to swim laps, explore, or just and hang out on the beach soaking in the scenery.

The horseshoe beach and bay at Kapalua is a great place to snorkel. The bay is sheltered somewhat with lava rock formations on both sides. There can be some stronger roller activity at certain times but in general it is quite calm along here. The beach has beautiful soft and pounded sand with sandy water entries to go snorkelling. The coral, fish and waterlife here is exceptional and aquarium-like for beginners and novice snorkelers. The chances of snorkelling with sea turtles is great as we swam beside two at once, but don't touch them.
