They just try to sell their stuffs. They're super friendly and nice so just be friends with them. They speak pretty good English. However, if you don't want to buy anything from them, just kindly say "No, thank you" before so they won't follow you. Saying "No" if you don't want to buy anything is being nice and honest to them. Be happy, be free and enjoy your trip. Treat them as friends and you will have fun :D We let them feel free to come in to our home (front yard) as neighbors but please feel free to let us know if you feel uncomfortable so we can help with that :)

There is no public transportation here so taxi will be good choice for group of friends or family wanna travel around the area, from Sapa to our village and back.

Here the local life is really simple. The local kids is really friendly, free and wild. We love their eyes, their smiles, their laughs and their innocence :D Their playing yard is rice fields. Their swimming pool is any where in the river, stream that they can have fun. Their joy is running around the village with barefoot or just passing by any house in the village and asking for picking some guava. So, bring your kids here and they might have fun together, as a memorable part of their childhood.
