Dogs are allowed on Fort Lauderdale beach at the section from Sunrise Blvd. to 100 yards North, dubbed "Canine Beach." Canine Beach is only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. The hours in the winter are from 3 – 7 pm and in the summer from 5 – 9 pm.

Snyder Park is located 5 minutes away from our Airbnb and has two different dog parks. Park entry is free every day, and parking is free on the weekdays but $1 on the weekends. One dog park is on the North side (on the right when entering the parking lot) and has a dog beach and lake for dogs to swim. The other dog park is on the South side (left) of the parking lot and has two sections, one for small dogs and the other for all size dogs.

Shooters is one of the nicest waterfront dining options in Fort Lauderdale and even has a dog menu if you want to splurge on your little guy (or girl)! Strongly recommended to make reservations at least 1 day in advance and request outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is usually taken up by reservations and not available for walk-in guests.
