Neighborhoods

My family grew up in ocean city, my nana was the one who taught us all how to catch crabs. The house comes with crab traps if you’re feeling adventurous. The trick is to use chicken or fish in the traps and set them on the bottom of the bay just off the dock and check later in the day to see if you caught anything. You can release them or if you’re hungry….. use the tongs to catch them. I suggest banging the cage down so the all go towards the opening and then put them in the bucket until you are ready. One by one rub their belly until the fall asleep and take a knife and rip the belly up and rinse out the belly with water. Cook to your liking, my great grandma made a yummy crab sauce Please hose off deck after.
