Ed and I grew up going to this beach with our parents and grandparents. There is some shallow spots for kids to splash around. It pretty as well.

Food scene
One of the only restuarants in the area with a water view. Hard to believe but its true. Indoor and outdoor dining, nice bar with a great view also. Food is very good and the lobster rolls are about the best around. No reservations here.

The food is always very good. Atmosphere is lovely, Space is on the small side. Always make a reservations as far ahead as possible. We liked the grilled romaine and calamari to start. The pasta is great as is just about anything you pick. Great wine list too. Table of 4, ask to sit in one of the more private alcoves off the main dining room. Not really the best pick for kids under 16 or so.

Take a trip to Wellfleet. Great galleries too. This spot has a beautiful view of Wellfleet harbor. Good spot for chowder, raw seafood, burgers. Bar can get very crowded here. Worth a visit here.

We've been coming here for decades. This town has always been a haven for artists and diverse folks, and everyone is welcome here. I love the seashell shop here. My grandmother loved the fudge shops. There are lots of restaurants and bars. There is a gallery area if you like that. Parking can be tricky here so make sure you plan to park in a designated spot and walk not far to the main areas. There is also a lot of parking by the piers, where you will find the whale watching groups.
