Sightseeing

Cosy Tudor charm with a hint of grandeur. We always loved to visit it when it was ignored by most. The 'Gentleman Jack' TV series has now made it internationally popular but its size lets it retain an intimate atmosphere. The outbuildings have been turned into traditional artisans' workshops and a horse-carriage museum. The park and lake offer a good range of activities and amenities. The mini-golf and the permanent dry-walling exhibition are our favourites.

World famous birthplace of Brontë sisters. Utterly charming village in spite of large crowds in summer and holidays. You can leave the car in Keighley and take the steam train to Haworth, and beyond to Oxenhope. Brontë Museum is a must to visit. Amazing wild moors landscape around.
