Governor Phillip Park offers plenty of parking to allow you to explore both the Pittwater and the ocean side of Palm Beach. You can access the walk up to the lighthouse from here as well. Nice dining options include the Dunes and the Boat House each with their own charm....or take a picnic to the to the top of the lighthouse walk and enjoy the amazing views out over the ocean and back over Pittwater. You will enjoy the magnificence whatever you decide to do!

This small reserve is located just a 5 minute walk from our accomodation. The track begins near Wandeen Street at Bilgola Plateau and finishes at Plam Grove Road, Avalon. The reserve is peaceful and beautiful. There are several rocky outcroppings where you can sit and enjoy nature. A gorgeous place to relax, meditate and enjoy the call of the various birds that frequent here.

Angophora Reserve

Sightseeing
This small grassy area provides a stunning view down Pittwater to Lion Island. There is a shark netted swimming area as well. Take a little hike up over the hill around the back of the boat houses and you will end up at Clareville Beach!

There is a small parking area here to access the lookout. A great place to whale watch during migration in June/July and October. You can walk down the road a bit and access steps taking you down to Bilgola Beach too if you would like some exercise!
