Brainerd is about 40 minutes East of Cushing on 210. Brainerd/Baxter and surrounding area features shops, restaurants, golf courses, plenty of larger shopping venues, activities for children. Make sure to allow at least 1 day for a visit! Just North is the quaint tourist area Nisswa with great little gift shops and small restaurants/bars to enjoy the day.
