The trail is primarily used for walking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. Short but steep hike with lots of stairs. Great opportunity to get a good, short workout in on the steep incline. The bottom half is black top, so good footing, which is helpful when you keep a steady pass and you muscles start burning on the way up. There can be a lot of families at times.

Parking is currently limited at the trailhead- If the parking lot is full you can park at the JW Marriott for a few hours which is a half-hour walk to the trailhead.
Please make sure to bring enough water as this trail is extremely exposed and it can get very hot in the summer months.
