The iconic 'England Church' of Kasauli that must ideally be visited during day time as the glass paintings inside the Church look even more stimulating then.
This Church has appeared in numerous movies, for instance in the John Abraham's very first scene at the very beginning of the movie ‘Madras Cafe’ . Another movie that was shot around the Church area is the Shah Rukh Khan's i ‘Maya Memsaab’ .

While walking towards the sunset point you will walk through upper mall road of Kasauli and the Army area. You will see the famous CRI (Central Research Institute of India - which is pioneer in the field of vaccines in India and abroad) and also the Kasauli Club.

Mirador del Atardecer
Good viewpoint from where you can see Chandigarh on a clear day. It has a "I love Kasauli" sign-board that makes for great pictures.

Lower Mall road is basically on the other side of the hill facing the Shimla hills, and Upper Mall road is on the other side facing Chandigarh & the vast plains in the sight. They both are great for taking a stroll on foot and clicking pictures.

Manki Point - Templo Sanjeevni Hanuman
After a small hike you will reach the famous Monkey point - having a great view where its said that Hanuman ji had stepped before leaving to fetch the Sanjeevani booti. The top of the mountain where the temple is located is in the shape of his foot.
To be Cautious about:
While hiking to the top beware of the monkeys that you'll find on the way they are quite mischievous.
This is a famous boarding school on the Sanawar Hills (almost an entire hill is covered by this), it was built long back - The actor 'Sanjay Dutt' has done some part of his schooling from here.
They allow tourists to visit some areas of the school.

There is a small hike opposite our homestay which is good. You can collect pine cones on the way or view the Solan-Chandigarh Highway to from the top of the mountain or have a small picnic there. There is a very small temple at the top.

Food scene
Well this is the Heritage Market where you can buy local hand-made things like wooden Kasauli key rings or woolen shawls etc. There are some small cafe’s in the area - I would recommend do have the famous ‘Bun-Samosa ‘ of Kasauli.

If you want to have an expensive meal or a dinner date, you can visit the Restaurant in this resort. Though you would need your own vehicle to go there, it’s a 15 minute drive from Kasauli or our homestay.
