Silver Sands Beach is a beautiful long stretch of sand along the south coast of Barbados. It is a popular picnic destination for Bajans especially on Sundays and Public Holidays. Not so great for swimming, Siver Sands is more known for surfing, wind surfing and kite surfing, that kind of thing.
Despite the often rough seas and big waves, the views from Silver Sands Beach are simply beautiful. It is rustic and untamed by the modernisation happening inland.

Silver Sands Beach
Silver Sands Beach is a beautiful long stretch of sand along the south coast of Barbados. It is a popular picnic destination for Bajans especially on Sundays and Public Holidays. Not so great for swimming, Siver Sands is more known for surfing, wind surfing and kite surfing, that kind of thing.
Despite the often rough seas and big waves, the views from Silver Sands Beach are simply beautiful. It is rustic and untamed by the modernisation happening inland.
As its name suggests this is one of the longest beaches on the island. Starting just beyond Silver Sands Beach, Long beach runs along the coast and ends just a few miles from the airport.
Being so far from most of the activity in the south Long Beach is the quiet get away you may be looking for. Great for morning jogs on the beach or sunrise strolls, the views and landscapes on both sides of the sand will take your breath away.

My absolute favourite spot to eat at in Oistins. Uncle George has that secret sauce that brings seafood to a whole other experience. Though it can get very busy, especially on Friday nights, Uncle George is always worth the wait.

The absolute best Steak on island. The Masala Grill is a HALAL establishment owned and run by International Chef de Cuisine Nasim Degia and Family. Nasim is friendly and very gifted at cooking. Also try his samosas, you wont regret it.
